Thrift Flip of the Week: Furniture

A weekly feature where I transform old thrifted furniture into something fresh, stylish, and modern.

Thrift Flip of the Week: Furniture

This week’s flip started with a worn-out side table I found at Goodwill for $4. It was scratched, stained, and looked like it survived 20 years in storage — but the shape and structure were strong.

What I Did:

  • Removed the old finish with sanding
  • Added a warm wood stain
  • Replaced the hardware
  • Finished with matte varnish

Result:
A clean, cozy, rustic-style table that now looks like a $60 piece from a boutique store.

This flip proves that thrift stores are full of furniture with hidden potential — all they need is a little love.
